Splice Press

The RJS Splice Press provides a means to splice the trailing ends of a completed creel run to the starting ends of a freshly loaded creel. RJS Corporation offers two types of splice press.

Model 448 (Photo of M448) (Link to Bulletin SP-448-10…)

The Model 448 is mounted on tracks and open on one end so that it can be shifted offline while the creel is active and shifted back online when required.

Model 344 (Photo of M344) (Link to Bulletin SP-344-309…)

The Model 344 is fixed to the centerline of the calender and allows for the steel cords to freely pass through during a creel run.
