The Digi-Creel utilizes an industrial PC platform to control and monitor an expanding number of roles in the creel room. Digi-Creel’s primary function is to provide a servo-valve air pressure control system for any type of creel design. For motorized moveable systems, shifting patterns are stored and executed.
The Digi-Creel can be used to monitor:
- Loose or broken wires
- Readouts from a tension monitoring system
- Room temperature and relative humidity
Several processes in the creel room can be monitored and controlled on the Digi-Creel PC itself, on an external computer via ethernet or WIFI, or on a handheld device replacing the air pressure control console, loose wire detection panel and creel shifting controls.
