Typically, a small amount of cord remains on the spools at the end of each creel run. This excess scrap must be removed and discarded prior to returning the spools to the cord supplier. RJS Corporation offers two unique designs to accomplish this task.
1. Model 409 MK II
The newly redesigned Model 409 Mk II Scrap Winder employs a rotating wind-up drum to remove the unusable steel cords remaining after completion of a run. Mounted on wheels, or optionally on a track system, the 409 is moved into operating position. The included floor-locks must secure the machine while in use.
2. Model 341
The Model 341 Wire Pull-Out Stand pulls the remaining cords from the depleted creel using a pair of rubber covered rollers feeding the wire cords into a scrap bin for easier handling. The 341 is mounted on wheels, or optionally on a track system, for easy positioning into its desired operating position. The included floor-locks must secure the machine while in use.
